Alabama Department of Public Safety

Greeting

In our society today, our world has many global problems. One of the most horrendous is the victimization of our children. Society as we know it, is built by our children, grand-children, great grand-children, etc. Therefore the protection of all children lies within in the responsibility of adults. This responsibility is shared throughout the Law Enforcement community, and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation has taken an active role in this responsibility. The Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was created in the year 2000 and has worked diligently in the reduction of child victimization, and will continue to work with other law enforcement departments throughout the world in protecting our children.
