On January 13, 1983, a beautiful baby girl was born in Anniston, Alabama, to her parents, John D. and Teresa Clark. Her grandparents were Jeffery and Beulah Clark, also of Anniston, and Mrs. Lorene Borsh of Hobson City, and her late husband, Mr. James Borsh. As the years passed, the parents and grandparents watched their child grow into a lovely young lady. Throughout her life, LaQuinta Kenyata Clark never met a stranger; she had a smile for everyone she met. People were touched by the happiness that she carried with her everywhere she went.
LaQuinta was a devoted sister to her younger brother, John-John. She had an enormous number of friends, but LaQuinta somehow managed to find time to bring her own special happiness to everyone. She was due to graduate from Jacksonville State University in May 2007, with a degree in Criminal Justice.
One night in September 2006, a night none of us shall ever forget, we lost this wonderful person in an accident involving a drunken driver. This was a loss that devastated everyone who had ever known and loved this truly wonderful person. I would ask everyone who reads this to consider the life and death of LaQuinta Kenyata Clark. Her young life was cut short; consider the contributions that she might have made, and what a senseless and tragic loss this was to so many. Don't drink and drive.
LaQuinta Kenyata Clark, we all love and miss you.
